Give a Little......

Yesterday, was Thanksgiving in the United States and we move thru this holiday season I feel especially grateful for my supportive family and friends.  Please remember in this time of uncertainly and trouble in the world that a smile and a Thank You can go a long way.  I am sharing this card made from free stamp set for participating in the monthly blog challenge from Imagine That ....digis by Kris.  Image and word art from that collections, papers and flowers from my assorted craft stash.

It's never too early........

to start thinking about Christmas, even though this upcoming Friday is only Halloween.
I wanted to share this cute kitty cat Christmas card, made with digi stamps from Imagine That...digis by Kris.  I am entering this into their DOTM challenge -- you can find that in this link.  The plain papers are cardstock from Jo-Anne's and the plaid paper is from a collection called --All the year through.  The metallic beads are from Michaels. I colored the image with Copics.

Sept Endings Oct Beginning

September has come to a close, the kids have made it thru the first month of school.  Poor Gavin has lost so many teeth that it is hard for him to eat -- 3 on the top with another one ready to fall out and he just lost one on the bottom.  All the kids audtioned for different levels of the competition teams at their new dance studio, the boys for mini-company, they did not make it, I did not think they were ready.  It was more to do for the experience so they would know what to expect in the future.  Alexa audtioned for the Repertory Company and the Danztastic Jr team, she did not make Rep Company but did make the Danztastic Jr team, at first she was disappointed because most of her friends from class are in the Rep company, but after the first class, she was feeling better about the team because she know more people than she thought she would. 

The air is getting cooler and crisper, football season has started, the leave are changing colors.
Everyone is getting excited about Halloween approaching, the kids love to pick out costumes, and help decorate the yard

Getting ready for Easter Day

Easter was a fun day -- the night before we dyed our eggs, I even got in on the fun, take a look below for pics of the kids, my eggs and what they left out for the Easter bunny, they were kinda disappointed Easter morning that the Easter bunny had eaten their eggs and not taken them home to show to his/her family....but he did leave them a nice Thank You note:)
